William was born on September 22, 1922 and passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017.

William was a resident of Lexington, North Carolina at the time of passing.

He graduated from Lexington Senior High School and attended Duke University.

During WWII he served in the U.S. Air Force for three years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 7, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington.
