William Francis Anderson Jr. Bridgewater, NJ William Francis Anderson Jr., 80, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Born in Jersey City, NJ he was a resident of North Arlington, NJ for many years before moving to Bridgewater 14 years ago. Before his retirement in 2000, Mr. Anderson worked as a postal worker with Jersey City Post office for 31 years. He was a former member of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf, The Catholic Deaf Society, and the Postal Union. William loved being associated with various deaf organizations throughout Bergen County and had an enormous love for animals, especially his dog Pepper. He enjoyed going out to dinner, traveling with his family and friends, and visiting his family in Florida. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Theresa and William F. Anderson Sr. Surviving are his cherished sister Marie and her husband Franklin Barbosa of Branchburg, NJ; his loving niece, Maria Denzer of Tewksbury, NJ; and his dear nephew, David and his wife Harinder Verdini of Branchburg, NJ. Viewing will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 9:00 – 10:30 am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. An 11:00 am funeral liturgy will follow at St.Ann's R.C. Church 45 Anderson St, Raritan, NJ 08869 followed by Entombment at St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the VNA of Somerset Hills Hospice 200 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07869.
