William was a blessing sent from God to his family, and to all those who knew him. He was blessed with an abundance of gifts from God. He loved being outside and going for walks and hikes. William enjoyed gardening, and he possessed a special talent for growing plants and flowers.

William was a natural born athlete. As a child he played multiple sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. He swam year-round with the Anderson Swim Club. Also, William was a very talented pianist. He took piano lessons from the time he was six years old until the age of eighteen.
