William was born on October 16, 1937 and passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

William was a resident of Wilmington, North Carolina at the time of passing.

Born in Florida, Harley attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and later earned his Baccalaureate Degree from Florida State University.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Thursday at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local hospice or Alzheimer's association.
