William I. Childers "Bill" was born in Ozark, Arkansas on January 12 1939 and passed at his home on January 9, 2018 with his wife and daughters. He grew up in Salinas, California. He moved to Longwood, Florida in 1981 where he and his wife of 47 years raised their 2 daughters. From the moment they met, he and his wife always agreed on 2 things, they both loved Elvis and they both hated mayonnaise and that never changed. Bill was a self employed business owner for most of his life. His passion came later in life when he pursued acting and was able to perform in local theatre, his favorite part being Atticus in "To Kill a Mockingbird" His favorite song was "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". His favorite color was blue. After retiring from the trucking industry his favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play their different sports, this always made his smile. He is survived by his wife Pat Childers and their two daughters Scarlett Henning & Tara Lindsey. Sons Jimmy Childers & Craig Childers. 9 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
