William J. "Bill" Blatherwick, 70, of Hamilton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Capital Health at Helene Fuld in Trenton. Born in Blue Anchor, New Jersey, he was a Hamilton area resident for over 40 years. Mr. Blatherwick honorably served his country in the United States Army. He received an MBA from Drexel University and had his Professional Engineer License. He worked as a Chemical Engineer for Johnson and Johnson. Bill proudly held more than 20 patents. Mr. Blatherwick was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid reader, enjoyed antiquing and traveling with his wife. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and June (Markart) Blatherwick, and his granddaughter, Kathryn May Nightingale; he is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara A. (Bailey) Blatherwick; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael Blatherwick and Ryane Gouveia; his daughter, Christine Nightingale; his grandchildren, Perrin and Anderson (Mac) Nightingale; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Chuck) and Carol Blatherwick; his niece and nephews, Charles (Chad), Adam, Luke and Joy and their families. Funeral services will begin on Monday, November 13, 2017, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, New Jersey. A private interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Winslow Township, New Jersey. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bill's memory to Mount Carmel Guild or Father Flanagan Boys Town by visiting In Memory Of at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
