William was born on March 28, 1936 and passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

William was a resident of Leipsic, Ohio at the time of passing.

He was a 1956 graduate of Ottawa Public High School and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa.

Bill was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Ottawa American Legion, where he was a past commander.

Bill enjoyed bowling and golf and his favorite saying was "I'm not good at either." A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church with pastors Tim Eding and Katie Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Harmon Cemetery, Gilboa with military rites by the Ottawa American Legion, VFW and AMVETS. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and again from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
