William was born on October 29, 1931 and passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

William was a resident of Columbus, Georgia at the time of passing.

He graduated from Miller County High School and then attended the University of Georgia, where he received his BS degree in Education.

Lindsey taught for one year at Donaldsonville High School before serving his country for three years in the United States Army.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Milford Baptist Church, Leary, GA with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held after services.

Donations in his memory may be made to Milford Baptist Church, 1438 Milford Church Rd., Leary, GA 39862.
