William R. Fouch, 88, of East Lansing, MI passed away December 12, 2016. He was born July 25, 1928 in Traverse City, the son of Harry and Charlotte (Thies) Fouch. William attended Traverse City High School and the University of Michigan. He was employed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources as a wildlife biologist for 30 years. William was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as golf and bowling and was a life member of the NRA. William belonged to the Bath Baptist Church, was a member of Gideons International, the Bath School Board, served as an election board volunteer, and was active in scouting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Fouch; sisters, Betty Crawford and Vera Wilson.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Nathalie; daughter, Renee Fouch; sons, James (Lisa) Fouch, Rex (Cindi) Fouch, Eric (Lori) Fouch; and 11 grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will take place 11:00 am Friday, December 16, 2016 at Bath Baptist Church, 13527 Webster St, Bath, MI with Rev. Nathan Gregory and Rev. Richard Cole officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bath, MI.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church.
