William S. Sayed "Bill", died on May 18, 2017 at age 97. He was born to Frances and Anthony Isaia in Rossiter, PA. He was married to his beloved wife Peggy intill her death in 1992. They raised 5 children together on the East side.Beverly Hardesty (Joe) , William (the late Rosanne), Jim and the late Joyce Lawrence and David Sayed Isaia He was the head of a large and loving family which includes 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchildren. He had many cherished nieces and nephews, and all kinds of extended family and friends. He was a man of strong faith, Member of the Knights of Columbus and was a usher at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for 60 years. Bill was self employed as a Barber for many years. He enjoyed playing the Saxophone and was a member of a swing Band. Bill was in World War Two in the United States Army and served in the D-Day invasion. The visitation for Mr. Sayed will be Sunday 2-8 pm on Sunday, May 21 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods .with Rosary at 7 pm. Mass will be Monday May 22, 12 noon at St. Joan of arc Catholic Church with 1 half hour instate time at Church.,
