William was born on August 6, 1926 and passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

William was a resident of Maine at the time of passing.

He attended Kittery schools and in the summer of 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on various Submarines before being honorably discharged in 1947.

Burial with Military Honors will be private in the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Donations may be made to: York Senior Housing Inc. 4 Pine Grove Lane, York ME 03909 Celebration of Life at the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on May 18, 2019.

Memorial contributions may be made to York Housing Authority Inc., 4 Pine Grove Lane, York, Maine 03909 for the Garden Club.
