Wilma Dorothy Janosov (Jones) went to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, March 24, 2017. She was laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.

She was born in Socorro, New Mexico in 1939, to David R. Jones Sr. and Josefita Baca. She attended public schools there and graduated from Socorro High School in May, 1956. She also attended N.M.I.M.T. and New Mexico State University. Wilma met her husband, Andrew Edward Janosov and married in 1958, at St. Paul's Methodist church in Socorro. They moved to Cape Canaveral, Florida in 1959 when her husband was employed at Kennedy Space Center. They moved to Satellite Beach, Florida in 1961. They moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1974 when her husband took a position with Sears, Roebuck & Company. They were blessed with three wonderful daughters, Donna, Joanne and Laura. While in Florida she obtained her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Central Florida and her master's degree in education from the University of North Florida. Wilma taught 4th and 6th grade and high school Spanish. She and her husband also owned a gift store for 14 years.

Wilma was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by Ed, her husband of 58 years, her three daughters, Donna Deterding (Rev. Dr. Paul), Joanne Makofske (Robert), and Laura McCoy (Ronald), eight grandchildren, Stephen, Andrew, and Jason Deterding, Matthew Makofske (Katie) and Jessica Woolnough (Ben), Dakota, Logan and Samantha McCoy, her brothers and sister: David (Geri), Wendell (Kathe), Howard (Marilyn), and Lynda Davoll (Peter).
