Wilma L. Breeden, 85 of Bloomington was peacefully called home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 with her family by her side while in Garden Villa. She was born May 9, 1931 in Bloomington to Raymond Reed and Opal New Reed. She had worked at Westinghouse, RCA and Sabin.

Survivors include three daughters, Pam Hacker of Bloomington, Kimberly Staley and her husband Robert of Greenwood and Diana Emery of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Lydia Mosier and her husband Jim, Courtnay Lauderdale and her husband Jeff, Melissa Robinson and her husband Chris, Eric Staley and his wife Hope also Brittany Emery; five great-grandchildren, Kelsey Walton, Garrett Walton, Makayla Lauderdale, Addey Staley and Jayden Mayo; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Marvin E. Breeden; a sister, Dorothy Calvert; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Hacker.

Wilma was a member of Woodhaven Christian Church. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking, shopping at Wal-Mart and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 East 3rd Street, with Pastors Steve Baker and Chris Robinson officiating. Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Friday from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
