Waterville-Yvette Comeau Caron, 91, wife of the late Antonio Caron, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2012 at Lakewood Continuing Care Center. She was born in Waterville, Maine on May 19, 1921 to Edward and Ethel Comeau.

Yvette was very active in the women's auxiliary of the VFW of Waterville, serving as its president in the early fifties. She enjoyed playing cards, picnics and going to the coast. She was a very accomplished seamstress as well as an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Yvette Paquet and husband Clarence of Winslow and Artherline Robersen and husband William of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She is also survived by a sister Doreen Clark of Florida; her grandson Joseph Paquet and his wife Linda and great grandson, Joshua; step-grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Houde of Scarborough; step-daughter Colette Lord and her children; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Edna, and 2 brothers, Delphis & Leo.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Lakewood Continuing Care Center for the good care given to Yvette.

There will be no visiting hours. A mass of Christian burial will be held for family and friends, 11 AM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church, Pleasant Street, Waterville. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville in the spring of 2013.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Yvette's memory may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
