Zenaida Victorino Bayuga passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the age of 74. Loving wife for 50 years of Amando Martinez Bayuga. Beloved mother of Anna Bayuga Contreras (Javier) and Allan Philip Bayuga (Jessica). Grandmother of Lauren Alexis Contreras and Juliette Zenaida Bayuga. Sister of Pancho Santos Victorino. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos Cruz and Constancia Tanlapco Victorino. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Zenaida was a graduate of Rizal High School (Pasig, PI), and received a Bachelor’s in Foreign Service from University of the Philippines. She was very active in the Louisiana Filipino Community. She was a member of the Philippine American United Council of Louisiana, Philippine American Women’s Association of Louisiana, Philippine Historical Society, and many other Filipino-American Organizations. She was admired by so many in the Filipino-community for her genuine altruism. She always opened her home to anyone to share and indulge in her cooking.
