Leonora Margherite Tacconelli

MRS TACCONELLI WAS A GOOD FRIEND TO MY MOTHER. THE FACT SHE WAS ITALIAN DIDN'T HURT. MY MOTHER LOVED ITALIANS. MY PARENTS MOVED IN 1955 AND THEY DIDN'T SEE AS MUCH OF EACH OTHER. GUIDO'S BAND PLAYED AT MY WEDDING IN 1956 AND WAS ENJOYED BY EVERYBODY. OUR MOTHER DIED A FEW YEARS AGO AT 94. THEY ARE PROBABLY TALKING RIGHT NOW.

My sincere sympathy to the Taconelli Girls and spouses. One of my sweet memories of your mom was when I went along with her and Cindy to get a prom dress. I believe it was somewhere in Southfield. Because I was not allowed to go to the prom...Mrs. T. let me tag along to look for Cindy's dress. She ended up with two of them! One was strapless and we were both lamenting that our backs were too wide for

Mrs. T. with her brilliant wisdom said,.."hey don't you know that strapless dresses ALWAYS look better on girls with wide backs?"!!! Well, needless to say, I never forgot the day Mrs. T. gave me (us) a positive reinforcement! RIP Mrs. T. you were the best!

Cindy, Dan and Family...Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We knew Leonora to be a loving Mother and Grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
