Mass for “Teddy” Webster will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Christ the King Cathedral with Monsignor Ben Kasteel officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at Sanders Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Rosary service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Teddy was born December 23, 1927 in Portsmouth, OH to Kenneth and Louella Raike. She graduated high school in Huntington, WV. After attending business college, she became a TWA stewardess traveling extensively in the US and Europe. Teddy married James “Jim” Webster on Nov. 2, 1956 in Wrightwood, CA. While Jim served in the US Air Force, they lived in many places including Japan and Hawaii. During their time in Hawaii, they adopted their daughter, Kelly. Teddy was also a Red Cross volunteer while Jim served in the military.

After Jim retired from the Air Force, they moved to Lubbock in 1967. Teddy owned and operated a secretarial service for over 20 years.

She loved to play golf and was a longtime member of the Meadowbrook Women’s Golf Assoc. Teddy was also an active member of Christ the King.

Survivors include her husband Jim of Lubbock; daughter Kelly Redard and granddaughter, Courtney Redard of Highlands Ranch, CO.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Lubbock, especially Amber and Yolanda for their loving care.
