George G. Pulver Jr., of Conshohocken, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at age 48.
He passed away at Temple Burn Center in Philadelphia, surrounded by his loving family.
George was a steel worker with Mittal Steel of Conshohocken.
He was born in Norristown on Sept. 21, 1959, and lived in Conshohocken all his life.
He was a member of St. Mary’s RC Church in Conshohocken.
He graduated from Plymouth — Whitemarsh High School, Class of 1977.
George enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, playing horseshoes, and watching football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.
Other interests included going to the batting cages with his children, and watching his children play and cheer for the Conshohocken Bears.
He also loved to grow and eat hot peppers.
Mr. Pulver is survived by his loving wife, Linda Pulver; his mother, Constance (Rozecki) Pulver; three daughters: Tammi, Rachael, and Tina Pulver; and a son, Andrew Pulver; all of Conshohocken.
Also surviving are four sisters: Patricia Benetatos, of Limerick, Kathleen Pulli, of Conshohocken, Irene Dorn, of Roxborough, and Joan Nolan, of North Wales; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
George was predeceased by his father, George G. Pulver Sr.
His funeral Mass was held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 10:30 a.m., from the St. Mary’s RC Church, Elm and Maple Streets, Conshohocken.
Fr. Gasper Genuardi and Msgr. Francis Statkus officiated.
