Staff Sergeant Carl M. Brocchi, 28, died suddenly June 22, 2009.

He was a graduate of Lake Mary High School, class of 1999 and received his Associates Degree in Communications Applications Technology (CCAF, 2009).

He entered the Air Force November 17, 1999 as an Intelligence Analyst. His duty assignments included Goodfellow AFB, MacDill AFB, FL, Whiteman AFB, MO, B2 Squadron, Royal AFB, Lakenheath, England, and Little Rock AFB, ARK. Among his many awards his decorations include Air Force Commendation, Air Force Achievement and Joint Service Achievement.

He loved fishing, playing the guitar, and he had travelled extensively to 23 countries.

He is survived by his loving parents, Meg Compton Brocchi and Carl Joseph Brocchi, his beloved sister Erica Brocchi, his paternal grandmother Madeline Brocchi, of St. Petersburg, FL, numerous aunts and uncles, and 14 first cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009 10AM-12:30 PM at the East Altamonte Chapel, Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Altamonte Springs, Florida.
