Edward Dana Pratt of Summerville, husband of Nancy Sheehan, Pratt went to his eternal rest on
August 23, 2009.
Born September 8, 1934, in Beverly, MA.
Survivors include; his wife of 47 years Nancy Sheehan Pratt, of Summerville, two daughters;
Patricia Pratt of San Jose CA, Tamara Pratt Scholl and husband Richard of North Charleston, SC ,
Three sons; Edward Dana Pratt and wife Cheryl Kepple Pratt of Madison AL, Joseph Pratt and wife Lesley Lynch Pratt of Newport RI, Thomas Pratt of Summerville, an honorary daughter Heather Crosby Rivas of Warwick RI., sisters; Barbara Wilson and husband Joseph of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Marilyn Libby and husband Arthur Of Lewiston ME, Patricia Pratt of Saco ME., Hazel Pratt of Old Orchard Beach, ME., one brother; Donald Pratt and wife Pam of Old Orchard Beach, ME., Grandchildren Brad Kepple, Jonathan,Courtney, Dayna Pratt, Chelsea and Katrina Scholl, Connor, Timothy and Benjamin Pratt, a great-grandson, Thomas Kepple and numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends.
Mr. Pratt was predeceased by his son Dana Edward Pratt, granddaughter Dayna Christine Scholl, brother, Richard Pratt and his parents Marcella and Edward Pratt.
Dana was raised in Gloucester Ma. He and his wife resided in Newport R.I. for 33 years and raised
their family. He was a commercial fisherman out of New Bedford MA and Newport R.I.
Once retired, he then spent 10 years in Fort Walton Beach, FL, before moving to Summerville, SC in 2005.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009, 9 AM, at St. Theresa’s The Little Flower Catholic Church, 11001 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC.
