Mr. Bernardo Suarez, Jr., age 49, of McDonough, GA passed away October 28, 2009. Mr. Suarez was born in New York the son of Felicita Castro and Bernardo Suarez, Sr. Bernie was a Dental Lab technician in a Dental Laboratory, a job he held dear to his heart. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, and with family and friends, his dog –Buddy was always by his side. Bernie enjoyed helping and doing for others, listening to Jazz music, playing pool and white water rafting. He served his country in the US Army straight out of high school. He was a member of Southside Christian Fellowship. Bernie was a good man with a huge loving heart and will be missed by so many. Survivors are his wife, Angela Davis Suarez of McDonough; his children, Josie Suarez and Jesse Suarez of Augusta, He also considered Hilda Ortiz of Augusta and Stephen Davis of McDonough his children as he loved them as his own; his mother, Felicita Castro of New York; and granddaughter, Jasmine; grandson, Antonio of Augusta. Funeral service for Bernie will be Sunday, November 8, 2009 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Eddy Mason officiating.
