Nancy Lee Barker, age 72, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Lapeer, died Friday March 2, 2012. Nancy was born July 19, 1939 in Almont, Michigan, to Fred and Vivian (Hutchens) Krackow. She graduated from Lapeer High School. She married Gale Foreman on May 15, 1965. Nancy worked many years for Michigan Bell and State Mutual Cyclone Insurance Company here in Lapeer. Mrs. Barker enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. and the world. She was the one whose cheerful attitude, quick wit and ready smile would brighten any room she entered. Nancy is survived by her children: Scott (Martha) Foreman of Macomb, Tom (Monica) Foreman of Prescott and Kelly Foreman and fiancé Benny Rosalez of Burton; dear friend: Donald Doherty of Florida; step-sons: Christopher W.W. Barker and Geoffrey J.I. (Suzanne) Barker; Four grandchildren; siblings: Donald Rawlins of Capac, Barbara Kirby of North Carolina and Donna Rykes of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband: William J. Barker in 2005; her parents Fred Krackow and Vivian Mask and her sister: Dorothy. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer (810)664-8111. The funeral service for Nancy will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Pastor Gary Hansen officiating, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer.
