Cheryl Stavely Betzing, 51, of the 9200 block of Mason Creek Rd., Norfolk, VA, passed away March 1, 2012, in Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Barbara Stavely. She was a retired Pharmacy Technician with Neighbor Care in Portsmouth, VA. She is survived by her daughter, Mistie Betzing; her son, Mark Joseph Betzing; two sisters, Robin Stavely and Holly Beamer and husband John; two grandchildren, Gracie and Will; a nephew, Jayson; a niece, Elizabeth; and an aunt, Doris Reader. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Hollomon-Brown to defray the cost of funeral expenses. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
