Esta Watters age 87 years of Blue Creek, Ohio, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice of Hope. Mrs. Watters was born July 23, 1924 the daughter of the late Lath and Axie (Messer) Brown in Knox County, Kentucky. Survivors include her daughter Tressie Stricklett and Kenneth of Blue Creek, Ohio; four grandchildren Roy Stricklett of West Union, Ohio; Michael Stricklett of Rarden, Ohio; Christina King of West Union, Ohio; Julie Brock of Stout, Ohio; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:00P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, West Union, Ohio; with Boyd Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunshine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.
