A. David Minnis, age 66, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. He was born February 26, 1945, in Chillicothe, Missouri. At 37, David moved to Mabelvale. He was an avid golfer who loved listening to and playing country music, clock repair and lots of inside and outside activities. He was a very dedicated Union Man who loved his family and a large host of friends.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janie Minnis; two daughters, Tammy Maberry and husband Stanley of Dawn, MO, and Rhonda Russell and husband Jeff of Mabelvale; two brothers, and Allen Minnis of Seattle, WA and Wayne Minnis of Carmel, IN; three grandchildren, Steff Hill and husband Josh of Benton, AR, Kimberly Maberry of Dawn, MO and Casey Maberry of Braymer, MO; and four great grandchildren, Braden, Kyrstin and Kiera Lucas, all of Benton, AR and Scott Maberry of Braymer, MO. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Minnis.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Brad Baltz who David held in high regard.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR.
