Aaron Deutscher Aaron Thomas Deutscher was tragically taken from all those who loved him by a drunk driver on July 6, 2012. His wife Allison, daughter Brielle, and unborn child also died in the auto accident. Aaron was born July 15, 1977, in Grand Forks, ND, a son of Tom and Arlene (Volesky) Deutscher. He lived in Grand Forks; Salt Lake City, UT; before moving to Bismarck with his family. He attended Northridge Elementary, Hughes Junior High, and graduated from Century High School in 1995. Aaron attended NDSU in Fargo and graduated with a Bachelors' degree in management information systems in 2000. Upon graduation, he found employment in software development with various companies in Minneapolis, MN and Boulder, CO. In April 2005, he moved to Fargo to pursue his career with Phoenix International/John Deere. He was a Senior IT Analyst with "uncommon qualities" as his boss quoted to his dad. Aaron was a loyal, honest, dedicated, sensitive, hard-working man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was the oldest of four children, Derek, Douglas Colin, and Alyssa. He was their greatest role model and mentor. His parents often went to Aaron for advice as his leadership qualities were unparalleled. His family was always considered first, before making any decisions. Aaron was a true family man. His presence spoke volumes and he touched many lives. Aaron married the love of his life, his best friend and true soul mate, Allison Mickelson on July 25th, 2009 in Bismarck. On January 21st, 2011, he became a father, one of Aaron's greatest accomplishments. His daughter Brielle Faith inherited Aaron's beautiful blue eyes and long eyelashes. She was the light of her parents' lives. As a father, mother, baby girl, and an unborn child, they were a true family unit, as one flesh, literally, until God called them home. Aaron's favorite past time was to play games with his family. With a competitive, witty fun-loving spirit, Aaron always was the "first one in," when planning a family game night. He and his dad entered several pinochle tournaments together. Aaron loved to play soccer, hunt, and was an avid sports fan. He was already teaching Brielle to play soccer from the time she learned to walk. He also collected coins and antique toys. Aaron will be greatly missed by his parents, Tom and Arlene Deutscher of Bismarck; his brothers and sister, Derek and Erika Deutscher and their children, Elin and Henrik of Fort Collins, CO, Douglas Colin Deutscher of Bismarck, and Alyssa Deutscher of Bismarck; great-grandmother, Irma Deutscher of Bowman, ND; numerous aunts and uncles; and many friends. Aaron was preceded in death by grandparents, Douglas and Gloria Deutscher and Vincent and Ella Volesky; uncle, Allen Volesky; and cousin, Ryan Volesky. A benefit fund has been established for Aaron, Allison and Brielle Deutscher. Donations are being accepted at any Gate City Bank location or mailed to Gate City Bank, 1119 9th Street East, West Fargo, ND 58078. Allison Deutscher Allison Marie (Mickelson) Deutscher was born on April 7, 1976 to Lynn and Linda (Mitzel) Mickelson of Barnesville, MN. She attended Florence Atkinson Elementary School in Barnesville until midway through 5th grade when her mother passed away. She and her family then moved to the Colfax-Abercrombie area. She entered Richland Elementary at Abercrombie, ND and graduated from Richland High School at Colfax with the Class of 1994. Allison then attended MSUM in Moorhead, MN receiving a Bachelors degree in the Mass Communications Program. While attending MSUM she interned at The Forum newspaper in Fargo and upon graduation began full time employment there. In January of 2012 she accepted a new job at Clinical Systems Management in Fargo (CSM). She was the middle of three children born to Lynn & Linda. Eric "Festus" being her older brother and Sarah being her younger sister. She was then joined by a step brother, Enoch "E. J." Sellars and step sister, Tammy Sellars. In 1991 she was joined by a new baby brother, Ryan. While attending RHS she was active in Band, Cheerleading and Basketball. On July 25, 2009, Allison married her best friend, Aaron Deutscher in a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Riverboat in Bismarck, ND. January 21, 2011, a beautiful blue eyed baby girl, Brielle Faith, was born to this union. Allison was so very proud of the 25 or 26 consecutive years that she has played on a softball team beginning in the elementary grades and continuing until the time of her death. Another event that she was proud to have been a part of was the Fargo Marathon. An amazing feat in this area was the fact that she ran and completed the 2011 half marathon without stopping – just 4 months after bringing Brielle into this world by way of "C" section! Her sister-in-law Alyssa had the privilege of running with her. Allison, Aaron, and Brielle were members of Trinity Lutheran Church where Brielle was baptized. Allison died at 7:18 on July 6, 2012 along with her husband Aaron, daughter Brielle and also an unborn baby that was due in December. Their deaths were caused by an alcohol impaired driver going the wrong way on I-94 about 30 miles west of Jamestown, ND while enroute to a Deutscher Family Reunion in Bismarck. A prime example of how mixing alcohol and driving can wipe out an entire family in a split second. Allison leaves behind her parents, Lynn and Donna (Havelange Sellars) Mickelson of Colfax, ND; her father and mother-in-law, Tom and Arlene Deutscher of Bismarck, ND. She also leaves her brother, Eric "Festus" (Heather) Mickelson of Colfax, ND, sister, Sarah (Todd) Johnson of Galchutt, ND, brother, Ryan Mickelson of Fargo, brother, E.J. (Heather) Sellars of Fargo and sister, Tammy (Scott) Blilie of Christine, ND. She also leaves behind her maternal grandmother, Dorothy (Vanvlaenderen) Mitzel of Wahpeton and grandfather Donald Havelange of Erie, ND; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda and step-father David Bakken; special aunt,
