Ada M. Gatchel

Ada M. "Pat" Gatchel, age 99, died April 22, 2012 at Sunset House in Toledo, Ohio. Pat was born to Elmer and Bessie (Clark) Patterson on January 6, 1913 in Winterset, Ohio. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School and Zanesville Business School. While living in Zanesville, Pat was an active member of Central Trinity Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Pat found much joy in spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Barbara Neill) and Richard (Carol Pinnick); grandchildren, Brian (Elizabeth Boyd) Gatchel, Blair (Elizabeth Payne) Gatchel, Kristin (John) Replogle, Tracy (William) Tunis, Erica (James) Silk; great grandchildren, Madelyn & James William Gatchel; Benjamin & Lilah Gatchel; Elizabeth Tate, Grace, Sarah, & Emerson Replogle; Caroline, William, & Graham Tunis; James, John, William, & Skylar Silk. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and brother, Lloyd. Pat's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff and caregivers at the Sunset House Retirement Village for the loving care they provided over the past 14 years and to ProMedica Hospice for their compassionate care in recent weeks.
