Ada Moulton Taylor passed away at home Tuesday morning, May 4, 2010 in Provo, Utah. She is survived by her husband, Dale H Taylor; her four children; Ruth Ellen Taylor Jackson (Kim), Raquelle Taylor Scott (Randy), Dale M Taylor (Paula), and RoseAnn Taylor Felt (Curtis); siblings: Lee Moulton, Bill Moulton, Lyman Moulton, and Louie Moulton Justet; 16 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren and preceded in death by siblings Van, Wendell and Tom Moulton. Ada was born in Delta, Utah on February 22, 1920 to Lyman Henry Moulton and Laura Ellen Leavitt. She was an armchair philosopher with a passion for the scriptures. She was known for her depth of gospel understanding and love of teaching and sharing her insights with her family and friends. She graduated from Brigham Young University in English and served as Student Body Vice President. She was active in drama and dance. She had also earned a beautician license and earned money for college in that field. After graduation she worked as a junior high English teacher. She married Dale H Taylor on June 8, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the couple made their home near Chicago while Dale earned a PhD at Northwestern. They eventually settled in Provo, where Dale was an Accounting Professor at BYU. She stayed home to rear her four children and continued her ongoing search for truth. Her great love and sacrifice for her family was known and honored. Her funeral is set for Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Stadium Avenue Chapel, 650 E. Stadium Ave. Provo, Utah. There will be a viewing on the previous evening, Friday, May 7 from 6-8 pm at the Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. Orem, Utah and from 8:30 to 9:45 am right before the funeral. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
