Woodgate- Adelia E. (Crump) LaPatra, 86, of Bear Creek Road, passed away suddenly at her home on October 21, 2013. Adelia was born on June 10, 1927, in Stockholm, NY, a daughter of the late Carl and Mary Burnett Crump. She attended a little country school until 11th grade when her father passed away and she had to work to help support the family. She was predeceased by two husbands, Carl Collette and Donald Bronson. She married Richard LaPatra in 1963 in Pennsylvania. Adelia was a dedicated wife and mother who lived for her family and home. Adelia is survived by her four children: Gaylord and his wife Betsy Collette, Marlene Bissonette, Darlene and her husband Frank McDougall, and Lana and her husband Steve Crump; seventeen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law: Charlyn Crump, Grace Radideau, Irene Collette, and Edna Goodrich., several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son: Carl H. Collette, and one daughter: Bonnie L. LaPatra, her grandson Kirk Jessmer, her son-in-law Frederick Bissonette, three brothers: Lloyd, Frederick (Sonny), and Lawrence Crump, two sisters: Helen Collette and Geraldine Crump. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 A.M., at St. Patrick's Church, Forestport, with Rev. Sean P. O'Brien officiating. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodgate Volunteer Fire Co. Her arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
