Adell W. Johnson, age 88, of 425 Chinworth Court, Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the Gardens at Lake City, in Warsaw. Adell was born on May 8, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, to Gordon M. and Mabel (McMillen) Nass. Adell became the bride of Elmer Nels Johnson on May 12, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois. She enjoyed being a homemaker and a mother. Adell will be sadly missed by her family. Adell is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Carey DePalma) Kehoe of Culver, Indiana, and Christine (Paul) Duvauchelle of Illinois; her son, Kurt (Diane) Johnson of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A family graveside service will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11900 South Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60655.
