Adriana M. Garcia, age 23, of Janesville, was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in Janesville on Oct. 29, 1987, the daughter of Luis R. and Carmela (Dominguez) Garcia. She graduated from Craig High School in 2006 and UW Oshkosh in 2011. Adriana had been employed by Evergreen Retirement Home, Oshkosh as a social worker. She is survived by her parents, Luis and Carmela Garcia of Janesville; 4 siblings: Ivan D. Garcia of Janesville, Lionel J. Garcia of Indiana, Luis R. Garcia II of Janesville and Lorena (Brandon) Blum of Beloit; special niece, Sophia; special nephew, Kadin; the love of her life, Dan Miller of Oshkosh; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. James Kuhn officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
