Alan F. Lamica died suddenly on June 2, 2011 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 60 years old.

Born on March 30, 1951 in Troy, NY he was the son of Earl Lamica and the late Marie Chevalier Lamica.

Mr. Lamica proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

At the time of his death, he was employed by Bergersons Services.

His greatest love and passion was for music and playing his guitar. Over the years he played at various venues with his bands. His most recent band was called the Lost Cantina. Previous bands that he performed with were BranchWater and North 40. Other than his family, music was his life.

Alan is predeceased by a son, Alan F, Lamica Jr.

Survivors include his significant other, Beth Emigh of Wilton, two sons Daniel R. Lamica (Mellisa) of Fort Plain, NY and Christopher Lamica (Catherine) of Greenfield Center, NY, a daughter Sharon Webster (Coey) of Clifton Park, NY, two brothers Bruce Lamica (Mary) of Wilton, NY and Craig Lamica (Kristen) of Ballston Spa, NY, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He was also survived by Lorraine Roberge, stepmother, and stepsiblings, Billy Tenczar (predeceased), Ronald Tenczar (predeceased), Sharyl Stanley, Darlene Tenczar (predeceased), Donna Lee Conlin and Tamara Metzler.

Family and friends may call from 5-8 today at the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the Gerald B H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.

Memorial donations can me made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
