ALBERT H. BROWN, age 80, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on February 9, 1929 in Brookville, Ohio, he was the son of the late John & Ethel Leona (Minnich) Brown. Albert proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman Second Class during World War II. Albert retired in 1980 from Delco Morine in Dayton, Ohio after 30 years as a Job Setter. Life Member of the V. F. W. #7262 of Greenville, Ohio. Albert was a member of the Preble County Farm Bureau for many years. Preceded by his wife, Doris J. (Elliott) Brown in 2006; brothers Verlin H. Brown in 1999 and Charles Leroy Brown in 2009; sister, Viola Bolin in 1991. Survived by his son, Milton D. Brown of Lewisburg, Ohio; daughter, Kathy M. Hines of Muncie, Indiana; brother, Dale Brown of Richmond, Indiana; sisters & brother-in-law, Vera Naomi Brunk of Arcanum, Ohio, Evelyn Irene Steele of New Paris, Ohio, Mary Ann Sowers of Piqua, Ohio, Helen Marie Wogoman of Arcanum, Ohio, Edna Louise Sowers of Arcanum, Ohio and Virginia Lee & Orville Reed of Union, Ohio; granddaughters, Rhonda Brown & Brian Shaw of Muncie, Indiana and Malisa Hines of Rockledge, Florida; great granddaughters, Kayla Shaw of Muncie, Indiana and Destinini Stafford of Rockledge, Florida; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David Justis officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the funeral home.
