Albert Joseph Tomasino, Sr., 88, of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Born February 27, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years, Bernice O’Mally Tomasino.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Albert Jr. and Karen Tomasino of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two daughters and sons-in-law, Toni and Skip Vesce of Orlando, Florida and Helen and Ron Buckley of Bonnerdale, Arkansas; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and Mimi, his poodle.
A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday August 19, 2011 at St. Mary’s of the Springs Catholic Church, 100 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, Ar. 71901, with Father James West officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer Masses.
Gross Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
