Alexandra "Alex" Brie Corning, age 15, of Morrilton, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012. She was born August 27, 1996 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was a 10th grade student of Sacred Heart Catholic School. Formerly a student of the South Conway County School District, she was a member of the Jr. Beta Club and People to People Ambassadorship.
Survivors include her father: Cecil Corning and wife Susan of Morrilton; mother: Stephanie Davis Williams and husband Chris of Bigelow; four sisters: Erin Corning, Jessica Johnson, Jennifer Johnson and Sidney Williams; brother, Austin Williams; paternal grandmother: Adelia Corning of Clinton; maternal grandparents: Glen and Jan Davis of Morrilton; three aunts: Carol Corning of Clinton, Jean Shertz of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Connie Carrington of Russellville; and three uncles: David Corning of Conway, John Corning of Bee Branch, and Terrell Corning of Marionville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jasper Corning; uncles, Ben and Edward Corning.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Harris Chapel with Bro. Sonny Harvison officiating. Burial will be at Lloyd Cemetery near Bee Branch. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Harris Chapel. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
