Alfonso was born on October 26, 1924 and passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Alfonso was a resident of La Verne, California at the time of his passing.

Alfonso attended school through high school.

He served his country, he enlisted on April 7, 1943 into the Army. He served in WWII and was taken as a POW/MIA. For this heroic survival, Alfonso received many medals. Later after he was honarably discharged from the Army he then enlisted in the Air Force from 1950-1951 and fought in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Frances.

Memorial service will be held at Ingold Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:30am with interment to follow at 12:15pm at Riverside National Cemetery at the POW/MIA committal site.
