Cumberland – Lemos, Alice A. (Pereira), 76, of Titus Street, died Wednesday, September 30, at Grandview Nursing Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of John D. Lemos Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Vincent) Pereira, she had lived in Cumberland for most of her life. Mrs. Lemos was a nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for twenty-four years. She was very active in the Cumberland Lions Club, serving as Past-President, and was a King Lion. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Morgan of Tallahassee, FL, and Melinda Lemos-Jackson of Cumberland; one son, Dennis J. Lemos of Port Charlotte, FL; two sisters, Laura Lemos of Cumberland and Irene Vincent of North Attleboro, MA; three brothers, Jack Pereira of California, Vern Pereira of Cumberland, and Richard Pereira of North Attleboro, MA; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Matthew, Gus and Benny Pereira. Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 3, at 9:00 a.m. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 301 Broad Street, Cumberland. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may call, FRIDAY 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904-9826 would be appreciated
