March 5, 1921 – February 2, 2013

Alice passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2013. She was the devoted wife of the late John B. McNesby. She leaves behind her children John (Janet), Daniel, Thomas (Susan), and TeriAnn Askew (Charles); her grandchildren John (Kim), Ian (Yuko), Maggie, Ross, Trevor McNesby, Daynee Vorst (Matt), and Sean and Mary Askew, along with six great grandchildren. Alice loved to volunteer at St. Timothy's Church and was loved by all. She retired from the Emporium in 1983.
On Sat., Feb. 9, a viewing from 4:00-7:00 pm, followed by a Rosary, will be held at Sneider, Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6:00 pm on Sunday, Feb. 10, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 1515 Dolan Ave, San Mateo. Donations may be made to St. Timothy's.
