CRUZA, Alice M. “Lala” (Camelio) began her journey in life on March 19, 1917. She married her husband Peter of 39 years on September 17th. They had two sons: Joseph P. Cruza, Sr. and Peter F. Cruza, Jr. Her journey in life took her from 5th Street, E. Cambridge to Templeton Pkwy, Watertown, where she lived for 54 years.

Alice worked at Raytheon Co. for many years before going to work at NEPCO Meat Packing Co. until the company closed. She spent her weekends and summers helping to keep kids safe by becoming a charter member of The Cadets of Watertown Drum & Bugle Corp. Alice was co-founder of Anthony’s Florist in Watertown where she was the head designer in wedding bouquets. She designed each bouquet with love.

The next part of her journey was founder of Escort Limousine and Atlantic Coach and Tours of Watertown. Her beautiful journey in life ended on Sunday, July 12th at home with her two loving sons at her side. Joseph P. Cruza, Sr. of Bridgewater and Peter F. Cruza, Jr. of Watertown. Alice was the loving grandmother of Joanne Kingman & her husband Michael of East Bridgewater, Michael J. Cruza & his wife Jennifer of Plymouth, and Joseph P. Cruza, Jr. & his wife Tara of Plymouth. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren Molly I. & Michael A. Kingman, Madelyn & Mason Cruza, and Jackson & Harrison Cruza. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

We will all miss her very much and will keep her wonderful memories of all the time we spent with her.

Funeral from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St. (Rt. 16) Watertown on Saturday at 11 A.M. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Watertown at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery. Contributions in her memory to the Sacred Heart Church, 770 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown 02472 would be appreciated.

Alice’s journey on earth has ended, but her new journey with God and all her brothers and sisters have just started. May she rest in peace.
