ALICE M. MUNN age 83, died Sunday, Jan. 6, at Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Garfield Hts., OH, on March 31, 1929, and had lived in Newbury Twp. prior to moving to Tavares, FL, in 1991.
Mrs. Munn had been an administrative assistant in the hotel industry. She had been active in St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church when living in Florida, and while living in Newbury, the Church of St. Helen where she was a member of the Legion of Mary and an Eucharistic Minister. She chaperoned the All Ohio Youth Choir, and enjoyed traveling, music, and her cat, Soxie.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcia Munn (James) Kukral of Plymouth, MN, sons Jeffrey R. (Linda) and Gregory E. (Alice) Munn of Newbury Twp., OH and 11 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves close Florida friends, Mike and Pat Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R. Earl and Anna (Nee: Nemunaitis) Cruxton.
FUNERAL MASS will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 11AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury Twp., OH, with Rev. Jay McPhillips officiating. A visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5-8 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500' south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. Interment will be in Munn Cemetery, Newbury,
