Alice Virginia McCoy, 68, of Rex, Georgia passed away after a long illness January 9, 2012. Alice was born in Virginia, the daughter of the late Della Bailey and Olin Donald Puckett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Dwayne McCoy and her daughter, Tracey Strickland. Alice was the former owner of Tracey's Bridal Shop in Jonesboro, GA and later joined Primerica Financial Services where she advanced to Regional Vice President. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors are her son-in-law, Alan Strickland of Locust Grove and an abundance of friends. A memorial service for Alice will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral with Scott Pinckard and Rev. Cheryl Brinson officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
