Allen Paul McCaslin, a Global Distribution QA Manager for Abbott Nutrition passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 10:27 am. Age 38 years. Beloved husband of Susan Reinhard McCaslin. Loving and devoted father of Mary Allison McCaslin, Meghan Anne McCaslin and the late Lucas Paul McCaslin and Logan Patrick McCaslin all of whom he adored. Son of W. Allen and Susan Daigle McCaslin. Son-in-law of Ann and Gerald VanHoose and Daniel Reinhard. Brother of Richard Daigle McCaslin. Brother–in-law of Margo Atterholt McCaslin, Joseph and Carla Reinhard, Robert and Sarah Reinhard, Aimee and Dan Blumenschein, David and Brittany Reinhard and Melissa and Ryan Ferriman. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. McCaslin was an Eagle Scout. He was on the Stewardship Committee and a member of St. Mary Magdalen Parish Council.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time.
