Alline McJimsey

Alline McJimsey, 84, of Lubbock passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010. Norma Alline Faye McJimsey was born to Jake & Ellen Myres on June 8, 1926 in Checotah, Oklahoma. They moved to Lubbock in 1936. She was married to Bill Hood for 26 years. She married Robert McJimsey in 1965. He preceded her in death in August of 2001.

Alline was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee; daughter, Denise Hood; sister, Sarah Hancock; brother, Billy Myres; and her parents.

Alline is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Cornell and husband Donnie of Borger and Debby Furr and husband Charles “Tadpole” of Lubbock; stepdaughter, Sue DiLillo and husband Lou of Lubbock; brother, Clyde Myres and wife Irene of Lubbock; sister, Ruthie Richie and husband Vic of Whitesborough; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; 3 grand dogs, Skeeter, Tanner & Tootsie.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Bloskas officiating. Burial will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
