Alonzo Sirianni, 87, of Spencer, WV passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
He was a retired truck driver for Smith Transfer out of Teamsters Local 175, and was a World War II Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and wife Conchetta Ann Sirianni and brothers, John, Fred and Toney.
He is survived by sons: Anthony Sirianni and wife Pamela of South Charleston, John Sirianni of Cross Lanes, grandchildren; Nikki Sirianni, Andrea Sirianni, Angelo Sirianni, Jeffrey Fowler, and Justin Washington, great grandchild; Nikolas Sirianni, sisters; Mary Jelsomine of Charleston, Jeanette Stanley of Charleston, brothers; Albert Sirianni (Kathy) of Cleveland, Frank Sirianni (Connie) of Beckley and brother in law James White of Charleston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers Chris and Rose for all of their love.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 19, 2012 at the Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home with the Elder James Reese officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Charleston with Military Graveside Rites.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
