Funeral services for Amado Stephen Leija, 23, of West Monroe, LA were held 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. Richard Robinson officiating. Interment followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Rayville, LA.
Amado was born June 17, 1987 in Monroe, LA and passed away Thursday, November 19, 2010 in West Monroe, LA.
Amado was interested in computers and playing video games. He loved his family and was always worried about someone else.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Albert of West Monroe, LA; father, Mario Leija, Sr. of Mexico; brother, Mario Leija of West Monroe, LA; sister, Dalila Dollar of Denton, TX; paternal grandparents, Joe Leija of Mexico and Trinidad Leija of Mexico; maternal grandparents, Sue Albert and Earl Keeton of Monroe, LA; niece and nephew, Madison and Jake; aunts and uncles, Linda and Tom Henry, Diane and Ledell Derrick; Mark and Zelena Linkous, Ollen Ponder, Sr., Kathy and Tommy Borden, Hortinca Wordlow, Dalila Dollar, Remigio Leija, Amado Leija, Joe Leija, and David Leija.
Pallbearers were David Leija, Remigio Leija, Mario Leija, Joe Leija, Mark Linkous, and Joshua Linkous.
