ARAGON - Ambrosio Aragon, age 90, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Las Vegas, NM. He is survived by his children, Margaret DeWitt and husband, Jeff, Gary Aragon and wife, Sharon, Sharon Muchmore, Gerald Aragon and wife Bonnie, Sylvia Lucero and husband, Joe, and Gilbert Aragon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Manuel Aragon and Paul Aragon. Ambrose joined the Army when he was 16, serving in WWII. Following his duty, he came back home and studied to be a barber. He had owned his own business as a barber in Albuquerque for over 60 years. Following retirement, he still went to the shop each day to help out his son, Gerald. He loved to fish and hunt. Ambrose was most proud of obtaining his High School Diploma at age 85 in 2006. He will be dearly missed. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Chapel on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 10:00 a.m.
