Amelia B. Ronngren, 94, died on Oct 21, 2009 at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in York, PA. She was the wife of the late J. Konrad Ronngren who died in 1993. Born Nov 28, 1914 in Europe, daughter of George and Susanna Butscher, she came to the U.S. in 1921. She was a homemaker who lived in Pennsauken, NJ and later in Hickory Corners, PA. She was a member of the Zion Valley Church, Lutheran Church Woman, Ladies Auxiliary of Lurthearn Homes and the Hickory Corners Fire Co Auxiliary.

She is surivived by a daughter, Mair Love and her husband Richard of Hanover, NH and a son, Robert Ronngren and his wife Carol of Manchester PA. Also suriving are three nieces, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A brother, George Butscher preceded her in death in 1996.

Services will be held on Monday Oct 26, 2009 at 11 AM at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA. Visitation will be on Monday from 10-11 AM also at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Stone Valley Cemetery.
