Amos was born on February 1, 1923 and passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010.

Amos was a resident of Lorenzo, Texas at the time of passing.

After service to his country, Amos graduated from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene in 1948.

He served in WWII, successfully flying 32 missions over Germany in B-17s as a Top Turret Gunner.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. T.J. Messer officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
