Amy Jean Pelletier, age 43 of Rockvale, passed away October 7, 2012 at Claiborne-Hughes Health Center in Franklin. Amy was born in Rockland, Maine on November 8, 1968 to Francis Henry Bowen and Betty Jean Gallant. To Amy, there were places to see and things to do outside of Maine so she joined the Navy from 1989-1993. She wanted to spread her love all over the world, when she eventually moved back to Maine caring for disabled adults. With a tear in her eye, her mother expressed, "She was a fun, loving, and vibrant person who loved playing any kind of sport including baseball and softball." Her outgoing personality will be missed by all of her loved ones. An afternoon jog, concerts with friends, and dancing were things she found great interest in, but above all spending time with her closest friends & family were the most important ingredients that made up her life. In addition to her mother, Betty Jean Gallant of Nobleboro, Maine, survivors include her children: Brooke Danielle Fielding of Texas and Christopher Hutson of Texas; her sisters: Melissa "Missy" and husband Larry Darling of Rockvale and Dawn and husband Dave Delafotaine of New Hampshire; her nieces and nephews: Jessica Thomas, Dave Delafotaine, Larry Darling and wife Jennifer and Brandon Delafotaine; and great nieces and nephews: Kayla Thomas, Michael Thomas, Abby Darling, Matthew Darling, and Lawson Darling; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amy is preceded in death by her grandparents Andrew and Barbara Gallant and uncle Ronny Gallant. The family will announce a memorial service later this week.
