JANESVILLE--- Amy J. Laack, age 37, of Janesville, died on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at home. She was born in Janesville on Jan. 31, 1973, the daughter of Gayle and Patricia (Mueller) Laack. She graduated from the Wisconsin School for the Visually Handicapped in 1991. Amy had previously been employed by the Janesville Health Care Center and Pizza Hut Restaurant. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Southern Wisconsin Epilepsy Association, and loved collecting pens, reading, making calls on her cell phone, doing word search and especially her Scottish Terrier, Millie. Amy is survived by her parents, Patricia and Gayle Laack of Janesville; 3 sisters: Lisa (Scott) Tucker of Delavan, Kathleen (friend, Robert Turben) Wilson of Edgerton and Michele Laack of Janesville; 2 nephews, Brian Wilson of Georgia and Matthew Wilson of Madison; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; 2 uncles, Leonard Mueller and Richard Laack; and 2 cousins, Rebecca and Stephanie Mueller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. Stephen J. Umhoefer officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
